Coaches

Chris Poland is in his junior year of wrestling at Coker College in South Carolina where he is the starting 133lb for the Cobras and is making the push for 2019 NCAA All-American.  Chris transferred to Coker College on scholarship from D1 Eastern Michigan University after their program was cut in 2018.  In high school Chris achieved a career record of 127-31 and was a 4 time MHSAA All State Wrestler.  Chris is also a 2 time Freestyle State Champion, Greco Roman State Champion, MYWAY State Champion, and Greco Roman National All American in 2014.  Chris was also part of the 2014 Greco Roman National Championship team.

Austin Beardsley is a 4 year varsity wrestler at TK who was a 2 time MHSAA State Qualifier.  Austin capped off his high school career with a 5th place finish at the Palace of Auburn Hills his senior year.  He is currently studying engineering in College and coaching wrestling at TTS Fitness/Michigan Xtreme and has been coaching at Michigan Xtreme 5 plus years.

Wade Poland is co-owner of TTS Fitness with his wife Lori.  Wade was a former Freestyle State Champion wrestler and a 4 year varsity wrestler at TK.  He is still on the list of one of the most accomplished wrestlers at TK.  Wade has some unique coaching philosophies that revolve around the mental aspect of controlling your opponent and dominating them in order to achieve the win.  Wade also has the unique ability to recognize opponents styles and recommend a game plan to achieve victory.
